Slash That for Chrome
Type /intro in Gmail, Slack for web, LinkedIn or any text box in Chrome, see the matching templates and press Enter to drop one in. The extension works with your Slash That account, so sign in here first and everything you save shows up in Chrome.
- 1Unzip the downloaded file.
- 2Paste chrome://extensions in Chrome (the page opens ready).
- 3Turn on Developer mode, top right.
- 4Drag the unzipped folder onto that page — done.
Type the slash
Start typing /intro in any text box. Matching templates appear with a preview — press Enter and the text is filled in.
Open the side panel
Click the /that icon (or press Cmd+Shift+Space) and a side panel opens with all your templates. Click one to insert it.
Signed in to your account
The extension uses the templates saved in your account. Sign in here once and it syncs automatically.
Working outside Chrome
Expanding inside the desktop Slack, Mail or Notes apps needs a small Mac helper with accessibility permission. That's planned as the next phase — your templates will be the same ones you see here.
